Q1What's the one peptide you find yourself recommending more than any other right now, and why?

BPC-157, without question. It's the one I get asked about the most, and it's also the one I watch the closest — it's one of the most counterfeited and underdosed peptides on the market right now, so I make sure every batch we sell has a fresh, batch-specific COA from Bioviridian before it goes out the door. If a customer's only going to verify one thing before they buy from anyone, this is usually the product where it matters most.

Q2What's the most common mistake you see people make when they first come to you about peptides?

They assume a purity number on a website is the whole story. I get a lot of first-time buyers who've never actually asked a vendor for a lot-specific COA — they just trust whatever's posted. I always tell people: ask for the COA tied to the actual lot number on your vial, not a generic one pulled off the site. The second one is storage. People treat lyophilized peptides like they're shelf-stable forever, then reconstitute them and leave them somewhere warm or bright for weeks. That's usually what's actually going on when someone tells me a product "didn't work" — it's not the peptide, it's what happened to it after it left the freezer. We store our product (lyophilized powders) at -80 degrees, from day of receipt to day of shipping, and all product ships with freezer gel shipping packs.

Q3What's something about the peptide industry the average person would be surprised to learn?

How much of the market is repackaging rather than manufacturing. A lot of vendors — including ones with polished sites — are sourcing from the same small handful of manufacturing clusters and putting their own label on it. What actually separates a good vendor from a bad one isn't some secret synthesis process, it's sourcing discipline and whether they'll actually show you a real, dated, independent lab result (COA)

Q4If someone reading this is just starting to research peptides, what's the one thing you'd tell them before they buy from anyone?

Get the COA yourself before you buy — don't take a vendor's word for what's in the vial. Ask for one tied to the specific lot number, from an independent lab, with real HPLC or mass spec data behind it, not just a purity percentage with nothing to back it up. If a vendor won't produce that on request, that tells you more than their price or their website ever will.

Q5What's a question patients/clients should be asking but usually don't?

"What happened to this between the lab and my doorstep?" Everyone asks about purity and dosing, almost nobody asks about the chain of custody — cold storage during shipping, how long it sat between synthesis and delivery, who actually handled it before it reached them. That gap is where most quality problems come from, and it's the question that tells you the most about whether a vendor actually knows their own supply chain.
